Our Fourth Rachael’s Day Collection took place before the home match against Norwich City on Sunday 23 February and realised £2,078.35 on the day. This, together with the £7,500 total so far from Oliver’s Trike Appeal and other donations, brought in over £10,000 for the Charity.
A massive thank-you to everyone who donated money and to all concerned with organising the collection, especially Tettenhall Rotary Club and The Wolves Foundation.
The introduction to a cheque presentation at half-time featured wizard dribbler Adama Traore spinning round on the Sports wheelchair used by James Harrison.
Caroline and Scott Tuckwell presented the cheque to Richard Skirrow, Patron of POWER PLEAS. Richard, former Wolves Secretary, was doubly pleased, with the on field team performance gaining three points!
Also pictured on the back row are Keith Berry, Tracie Henry-Fairfax and Heather Pearce. Front row features James Harrison in his Football wheelchair, Jamie Wiffen, who will be receiving a Football wheelchair from POWER PLEAS, and Millie Pearce who loves her Trike given to her by the Charity.
