Dave Padfield and his friend Martin are set to take on a gruelling 170 mile cycle ride to raise money for POWER PLEAS. The pair have accepted the challenge laid down by Graham Cooke to cycle from the Cookes store in Birmingham to the store in Christchurch. They will be setting off at 6:00 a.m. on 12 September and aim to reach Cookes Christchurch store before it closes at 5:30 p.m!
Dave’s son James has previously been in receipt of a Trike from POWER PLEAS and Dave explains, “It has revolutionised his life both with his enjoyment and the extra mobility he has gained from exercising on the trike. His face lights up with joy whenever he gets on it and it has become a firm favourite for him and the rest of the family.”
Dave and Martin would be grateful for any support you can give to keep them going on this marathon endeavour. Donations can be made via their Golden Giving page.
